During last season’s NBA championships, my husband and I invited our friends and fellow basketball enthusiasts over at our house to watch the final game.  As usual, we hosted with style. Mike and I wore matching couple’s t shirts as we greeted each of our guests at the door. Our identical shirts read: SHIRTS VS SKINS I’M ON THE SHIRTS TEAM… OBVIOUSLY.  Our friends laughed their way into our home and that was the start of a fun evening.

I served game food that night – battered fish fillets, buffalo chicken wings, hotdogs on bun and French fries and overflowing beer and soda for everyone.   Our friends kept on commending me for the great food and I could tell how proud my husband was of me.  They especially loved the fries which was, of course, homemade with my special secret ingredient.

Our team didn’t win the championship trophy but I’m glad we invited friends over.  It was so much fun!  We’re already talking about football and baseball season.  Our friends want us to host both championship game nights!  We said okay as long as they bring the drinks next time.  We’ll be the ones in charge of food.

 Our funny t shirts created such a stir that night.  Mike and I are thinking of getting two more sets for football and baseball seasons!

When the 3 way link exchange deal was offered by my website company, for half off, I had to take it. I really was thinking that I might try and do some one way link building myself and save my money for a while but these kinds of deals do not come around too often. At least, I know that I am getting a great price and I am certain that they will be doing a great job.

I have used them for the last ten months and in that time; I have found that I am learning a little more each day about one way link building and 3 way link exchange. They are both similar, but just have a few things that can be different about them including their names.

I have begged my husband for years to replace some screens that have been torn by birds and on the third floor of our Tampa home. Every time I ask he says he will tomorrow and he won’t let me hire someone to do it because he thinks it is quicker and cheaper to do it himself. Well, to be honest I am tired of waiting.

We have a new baby on the way that will be using this room for her first few years of life and I prefer to have nice new screens in the room before she is here so I decided to get them fixed. I narrowed it down to a list of four to call and get some estimates. They all came out that week and gave me some info. Our structured settlements that are going to be due in about five years are like our savings account. I am planning on leaving the money there even when it is finally deposited into my bank account. My husband is thinking that with his structured settlement, we should take some big cruise but I want to keep it to retire early on.

My sister also got a settlement, but she immediately went to people that told her they could sell structured settlement payments and get her money for her right away. Of course, it was not the full amount and she took most of it with her to the casino. It is such a sad situation; if you sell structured settlement payments then you should use the money for good and pay your bills. You should not take it and gamble it away. This would probably be the biggest difference between me and my sister and I guess that my husband would fit somewhere in between when it comes to how the money should be spent.

Had I known that my sister would spend all the money that she got early, I would have not helped her pay the lawyer that got her the settlement in the first place.

I was a little confused when I decided that the best thing for my modeling career would be to get some veneers. I was not sure if normal dentists could just put them on, or if you had to go to a specialist. I was a little embarrassed to ask any of my friends, thinking that they would all look at my teeth.

Then I figured that since veneers were kind of like false teeth, but much more like a fancy set of false teeth that maybe I should go to a dentist that specialized in that. I turned to the internet to help me out and I found all the answers to my questions right there.

I found a dentist that specialized in porcelain veneers and made my initial appointment with him for the following week. He took one look at my teeth and told me that I had the most perfect teeth that he had ever seen and that he would never put veneers on them to cover them up. He suggested that maybe having a tooth whitening procedure would make me feel more comfortable with my smile and we set up a separate appointment to have that done.
